
The art festival "Todays Art.jp" will be held in the warehouse district of Tennozu Isle from November 22nd to 24th. It is produced by Amuse Edutainment, a subsidiary of entertainment company Amuse.
Todays Art, which originated in the Netherlands, is one of the world's largest art festivals in the fields of media art and digital music, featuring artists from visual arts, performing arts, design, architecture, and cutting-edge technology. This year, a total of 10 artists from the Netherlands, the United States, Belgium, Russia, and Japan will participate, with live performances, exhibitions, workshops, and talk sessions throughout the festival.
In the installation section, Dutch artists Gabey Tjon a Tham and Mattijs Munnick will exhibit sound and light works. Starting at 6:30 PM on the 22nd, Canto Ostinato Audio Visual, an improvisational performance using harp, electronic sounds, and video, and the iconic Detroit techno group Underground Resistance/TIMELINE will perform live (advance reservations required). Additionally, there will be workshops and talk events each day featuring Skeletonics, Jon Dixon & De'Sean Jones, Cornelius Harris, and Otomo Yoshihide.
