
On December 9th, Tower Records began accepting pre-orders for a special edition jersey worn by Yanai in collaboration with Descente's arena and Kaze to Rock, headed by creative director Michihiko Yanai. The pre-orders run until January 29th, 2014. The lineup includes three models: the "Strawberry Print Jersey" (¥31,500), featuring Kaze to Rock's strawberry motif printed all over, and two "Skull Line Jerseys" (¥21,000 each), based on Arena's standard line jersey and featuring Kaze to Rock's skull logo on both sides. The jerseys are made of soft, lightweight fabric that wicks sweat, dries quickly, and provides UV protection (UPF50+). Yanai, who wears jerseys for most of the year, is immersed in his passion for them. The jerseys are made to order and will be released on March 31st, 2014. Applications are currently being accepted at Tower Records Online and Arena directly managed stores (Harajuku, Nagoya, Tenjin, Sapporo).
Yanai is in charge of Tower Records' advertising campaign "NO MUSIC, NO LIFE."
