Nov 19, 2014

Kering is running the White Ribbon Campaign ahead of International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25th. The White Ribbon is a social contribution movement launched by men in the early 1990s to eradicate violence against women. Kering is distributing 200,000 White Ribbon badges designed by Stella McCartney, who is also a board member of the Kering Foundation, to over 700 luxury brand stores in 38 countries around the world by November 29th. The participating brand stores in Japan include Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Stella McCartney, Brioni, and Boucheron (Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, and Boucheron are only available at select stores).

An online campaign is also currently running until the 29th. Digital badges are being distributed on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc., and people are being asked to spread the word by using the hashtag "#WR4W."
