Tokyu Land Corporation will open the "TENOHA DAIKANYAMA" commercial complex on November 28th. A preview was held on the 27th.
The facility, located at the intersection at the entrance to Daikanyama, is a new complex housing restaurants, lifestyle offices, and more. The existing building has been renovated, with a lush green exterior and a stylish, sophisticated interior. Proposing "new ways of living" and "new ways of working," the facility will function as a place to disseminate information and experiment with new businesses, with a theme of "LIFE" allowing visitors to experience everyday life and work in one facility. Due to its experimental nature, the facility will only be open for five years. The approximately 3,877 square meter site is made up of four areas: the shop "TENOHA & STYLE STORE," the restaurant "TENOHA & STYLE RESTAURANT," the Italian bar "Bondolfiboncaffe," and the laboratory "TENOHA LAB." The business and commercial zones are combined under a consistent concept to propose a new way of living.
"TENOHA & STYLE STORE" is a lifestyle shop that sells interior goods, miscellaneous goods, food, apparel, and greenery, and selects products that are imbued with the passion of the creators, both domestic and international. It is committed to supporting and discovering creators, displaying posters introducing the artists in the store and stocking a lineup of products recommended by those artists. Events and workshops are also held to foster interaction between customers and artists. To address the issue of not being able to stock all the items in-store due to the wide variety of colors and sizes, a system will be introduced in which QR codes will be placed near each product, allowing customers to access the purchasing page on the "Style Store" website by scanning the codes.
"TENOHA & STYLE RESTAURANT" serves Italian cuisine in a spacious restaurant with a total of 140 seats. Equipped with private rooms, a kitchen studio, and a terrace, it can be used for a variety of purposes, such as wedding receptions and cooking classes. The furniture and fixtures used here, such as chairs, as well as the ingredients used in the dishes, can also be purchased at the adjacent "TENOHA & STYLE STORE." Lunch prices are around 1,000 yen, and dinner prices are around 5,000 yen.
"Bondolfiboncaffe," opening its first location in Japan, is an Italian bar with a 150-year history. In Italy, espresso is drunk standing at a counter, but this cafe has seating at the counter as well as table seating, creating an interior space that is considerate of Japanese customers. In addition to panini, pizza, and tiramisu, which go perfectly with freshly brewed coffee, they also offer a wide variety of traditional Italian sweets.
"TENOHA LAB" in the business zone is a members-only working space. The working space on the first floor is equipped with a meeting room and library, and there is an order desk connected to the neighboring "Bon d'Orfibon Café", where you can order from the menu and use the service at a member's price. The shared office on the second floor has many rooms and desks. There are also personal rooms, and a room with a shop accessible via an outside staircase can be used as both a shop and an office.
