Sanyo Shokai has released the main part of the short film "TIMELESS STORY," which depicts the future of the "100-Year Coat" released in 2013.

Sanyo Shokai launched the 100-Year Coat under its coat brand "SANYO" as a way to embody the tagline "TIMELESS WORK. Let's make truly great things," which was formulated to mark the 70th anniversary of its founding. As a measure to embody this, Sanyo Shokai has launched the 100-Year Coat, a coat that can be worn for generations to come.

The four-part short film "How to Make a 100-Year Coat," which depicts the product from planning to production, has been viewed over 70,000 times on YouTube. This is the second installment.

Set in the near future of 2044 and 1976, the film unfolds the unique story of an item that can be passed down for 100 years at Sanyo Shokai. Two episodes, "EP.1 To Sakura" and "EP.2 To Mira," depict the somewhat mysterious story of a coat passed down from parent to child. The creative directors were commercial planner Takuma Takasaki and copywriter Sotaro Hoso, and the director was graphic designer Koichiro Tsujikawa.
