"YUZAWA Premium vol.2: Knowing Yuzawa Will Help You Live Beautifully - Akita 'Beauty' People, Yuzawa 'Beauty' People" is being held until March 14th in Space #2 on the second floor of the main building of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.

The promotion, which focuses on Yuzawa City in Akita Prefecture, introduces traditional crafts made in Yuzawa City such as kokeshi dolls, chinkin gold leaf, lacquerware and accessories, as well as introducing the traditional crafts, techniques and scenery of Yuzawa City through the creations of today's leading creators and designers. Various collaborations between designers and the city of Yuzawa are being held, including "AULA x Yuzawa," a limited-edition collection featuring embroidered and printed pink peony flowers, inspired by the costumes worn by Komachi girls by Yukimi Kawashima. "e.m. x Urushi-ko Bosetsu" combines jewelry with the delicate lacquerware technique and brilliance of lacquer. "THEATRE PRODUCTS x Sato Shoji" offers accessories lacquered by Sato Shoji's artisans. "RUKUS by Yasuhiro Tomita x Yuzawa" offers an accessory collection inspired by the patterns on lacquerware and small items. Additionally, an event is planned for March 4th from 2 PM, featuring Yuzawa City Deputy Mayor Fujii. A hashtag campaign is also underway where participants can post photos of moments that made them feel beautiful on Instagram with the hashtag "#AMomentOfBeauty" and have the official Mitsukoshi Japan Instagram account select and feature photos.
