Tokyo Tower in Tokyo's Minato Ward will host the "Tokyo Tower Taiwan Festival 2017" from March 18th to 20th at the outdoor special venue in front of the main entrance on the first floor. The food and drink booths, where you can enjoy Taiwanese cuisine, will offer a variety of dishes, including gua bao (a Taiwanese hamburger), xiang jiang (a Taiwanese sausage made with pork shoulder and fat), Zhenzhu Pinyin (a Taiwanese pinyin with authentic tapioca), yu yuan (a dessert specialty of Jiufen, a tourist attraction in Taiwan), hua zhi maru tang (round squid dumplings), danzi noodles with minced meat in shrimp broth, and rou zao fan (rouzao rice) with braised minced meat made with lard-free meat. Other dishes include xiang siu zi (steamed xiao long bao), Taiwanese noodles, baked xiao long bao (steamed dumplings), Azhu xue zai zi (braised rice), boiled dumplings, zhi pi (steamed dumplings), mayo zi (mayeo zi), lu rou fan (steamed rice balls), guacamole balls, danzi dried noodles, and handmade rice dumplings.

In addition, Hamaguri Sayuri will be the MC, and many other performers such as Hitoto Tae, Kokepiyo, and the Noppon Brothers will be joining the event on stage to liven up the event, making it a three-day event where you can fully experience the charms of Taiwan.
