Junichi Abe's kolor held a mini show for its Fall/Winter 2017-18 collection at the Palais de Tokyo. This season's show featured individual models standing against a wall, posing for lookbook photos while showcasing their outfits.

Following the men's collection shown in January, the show featured outlaw-inspired blousons featuring appliqués of different materials and dresses featuring scarf prints. Several women's pieces previously shown in the men's collection were also seen, but many were being shown for the first time.

The fur and velvet used in the appliqués appear to be randomly combined, but in fact have a calculated beauty, evoking a sense of imperfect perfection. A patchwork skirt made of different materials with a DIY element was also appealing. Neon-colored tape and zippers, characteristic of the brand, effectively accentuated the pieces. The scarf prints were asymmetrical, but the characteristics of the materials gave the pieces a light, airy feel.

The chain motif, taken from a scarf print and not seen in the women's items shown in the men's collection in January, adorns the hem of a coat as a foil print, giving the collection a new look.
