Coen will launch its first original fragrance series, "California Horizon." The fragrance was created by French-born perfumer Christophe Laudamiel, who has worked on scents for Estée Lauder and Tom Ford. The scent evokes the California plains and outdoors, with top notes of bergamot and orange, followed by middle notes of rosemary and California eucalyptus, and bottom notes of cedarwood and white amber. Some stores will have California Horizon fragrance diffusers. The "Fabric Fresh Spray" (2,200 yen), "Hand Soap" (2,200 yen), and "Solid Perfume" (1,800 yen) will be released in June, with an aroma candle scheduled for release in September. The brand, "kiosko coen," which sells miscellaneous goods and gifts, was launched in 2013. It is available at many stores, including the Tokyo Skytree Solamachi store, Kichijoji store, Futako Tamagawa Dogwood Plaza store, and General Store Shinjuku Pepe store.
