What is Ginza Chandelier? Ginza is a city that has embraced all cultures from around the world, giving birth to new brilliance. We hope that it will continue to be a place filled with dreams and aspirations, a place where happy memories are woven. It was with this wish in mind that the "Ginza Chandelier," a facade of light, was born at the Ginza 4-Chome intersection. It is the entrance where the stories of the people who gather in Ginza begin. It dazzlingly illuminates encounters and gently lights up memories. It is a symbol of the new city that colors Ginza today.
Ginza Chandelier Overview
The chandelier was chosen as a motif that embodies the image of Ginza, such as tradition, beauty, dreams, and aspirations, and is befitting the bustle and dignity of the city. We named it "Ginza Chandelier" with the hope that it will become a symbol of high public value that will be beloved for a long time, adding color to the cityscape, and become recognized as an integral part of the city.

LED optical fiber is embedded in the chandelier. The arch surrounding the chandelier is meant to resemble a "gate," representing an entrance where new encounters await. The decorative panels on the wall feature designs of the willow, a tree in Chuo Ward that symbolizes Ginza, and the lion, the symbol of Mitsukoshi. The lights change colors depending on the season and time, creating a streetscape.
