The Prada Group has entered into an exclusive fragrance partnership with Coty. The company will launch a fragrance line for its subsidiary brand, Miu Miu, in 2015.
Coty was founded in Paris in 1904. It sells fragrances, color cosmetics, and skin and body care products in over 130 countries and regions. Its net revenue for the fiscal year ending June 2013 was $4.6 billion (approximately 450 billion yen). It handles products for numerous luxury fashion brands, including Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Calvin Klein, Chloe, and Marc Jacobs. In Japan, Coty Prestige Japan, a joint venture established in 2006 by the Coty Group and the Bluebell Group, imports and sells Coty products.
