A special Miu Miu event kicked off on the 1st at The Stage on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku store. It runs until May 7th. The space, featuring the brand's signature damask wallpaper combined with polycarbonate and silver accents, features new items from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, as well as exclusive items exclusive to the event. The limited-edition apparel includes four dresses (priced from ¥201,600 to ¥262,500), including a duchess satin cocoon dress, as well as a denim jacket (¥149,100) with a pink lining, a coat (¥210,000), and a skirt (¥80,850). All items come with a special tag that reads "Isetan The Stage 2013." Additionally, limited-edition designs of only 50 Madras bags featuring gold clasps (five colors, ¥159,600 each) are available. Also on sale are limited-edition denim flat sandals adorned with large jewels (84,000 yen, 100,800 yen).

In addition, an area has been set up where customers can freely take photos with mannequins wearing the new collection, and enjoy taking photos wearing Miu Miu jewelry and accessories.

According to the buyer in charge, sales of clothing at the Miu Miu shop on the third floor have been strong since the remodel in March, with dresses, knitwear, blouses and other items selling well. At the bag department on the first floor, wallets in spring colors and other accessories are proving popular.
