On November 3rd, the Aroma Environment Association of Japan (AEAJ) held its 12th commemorative event at Yomiuri Hall in Yurakucho, Tokyo, to celebrate Aroma Day. Model Youn-a appeared as the Aroma Day ambassador at the venue, which attracted approximately 1,000 members of the public. The talk show, themed "Youn-a's Beauty Life: Happy with Fragrance," introduced her aromatherapy lifestyle, including aroma foot baths before bed and how to combat jet lag during successive overseas shoots. AEAJ also presented Youn-a with an "original aroma" inspired by her, a blend of rose geranium and cedarwood. The same scent was also sprayed throughout the venue lobby. In the talk session, "Become the person you want to be with the power of scent!", author and psychological counselor Yoko Haruka and AEAJ-certified aromatherapist Sachiko Matsuo offered advice from both psychological and aroma perspectives on specific cases, such as scents that inspire confidence and courage, or scents that boost femininity. The public interest incorporated association AEAJ is committed to preserving and creating an environment rich in natural scents, and promoting and developing aromatherapy. To ensure that the fragrance culture that originated in Europe takes root in Japan, the association designated November 3rd, Culture Day, as "Aroma Day," and holds various aroma-related events every year. The special website, "Girls be Aromatic!", features aroma-related content for women, such as columns and fortune-telling.
