BOUL'ANGE, an original boulangerie run by Flavor Works Co., Ltd., a member of the Bay Cruise Group, will begin selling its new spice-scented autumn collection on November 4th.

This year's new autumn collection features five types of bread, perfect for the deepening autumn, accented with spices, primarily cinnamon. The main item, Apple Cinnamon Brioche, is a brioche dough filled with cinnamon-scented apples and homemade almond cream. The apples used are Red Delicious apples, a specialty of Sannohe Town, Aomori Prefecture. Enjoy the combination of juicy apples, cinnamon, and the buttery flavor of the brioche dough.

Other items in the lineup include the "Caramel Cinnamon Croissant," a popular croissant flavored with cinnamon and baked with caramel sable folded inside, and the bite-sized "Cinnamon and Caramel Almond Kouign Amann," which combines the sweet texture of caramel and almonds with the aroma of butter and cinnamon.

Also available are "Walnut and Orange Spicy Rustic," which adds orange flavor to allspice and cinnamon, and "Coffee Cinnamon Bread," perfect for accompanying autumn tea time as breakfast deepens. Be sure to enjoy them with a warm drink such as coffee or milk.

Apple Cinnamon Brioche
800 yen / Half 400yen
Brioche with cinnamon-flavored apples and homemade almond cream. Cinnamon-scented apples and homemade almond cream are rolled into brioche dough and baked. The apples used are "Koumei," a specialty of Sannohe Town, Aomori Prefecture. Enjoy the flavors of juicy apples, cinnamon, and the brioche dough, which has a rich buttery flavor.

Cinnamon-flavored croissant dough is wrapped around almonds tossed in caramel sauce.

What is BOUL’ANGE?


"BOUL‘ANGE" was launched in June 2017 as Baycrew's first original boulangerie, and currently has 11 stores nationwide. (As of September 24, 2020) The specialty bread bearing the store's name comes in two varieties: "Pain de mie “Boul”", which is for toasting only, and "Pain de mie “Ange”", which is for eating raw.
