HaaT, a brand developed by ISSEY MIYAKE INC., is holding a limited-time event called "HaaT Market" in collaboration with interior stylist Fumiko Sakuhara at ELTTOB TEP ISSEY MIYAKE / GINZA (4-4-5 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) until November 13th.
Using nearly two-thirds of the store's first floor, the event expresses the charm of the brand's distinctive warm textiles. The walls are decorated with large collages created by Sakuhara using textile swatches, frames, and tools that HaaT has developed to date.
In addition, limited-edition items will be available, including scarves (31,500 yen), rugs (7,875 yen), scrunchies (from 1,050 yen), placemats (from 2,800 yen), coasters (1,050 yen), eco-bags (3,990 yen), and gloves (5,250 yen), all made using materials from the collection, as well as string and scraps used during dyeing. Miscellaneous items selected by Sakuhara, such as wooden tableware and postcards, will also be on sale. Visitors will receive a charm made in India, and purchasers will receive an original eco-bag (limited quantities).
The event will also be held on the 4th floor of Isetan Shinjuku from December 4th to 10th.
