The women's accessories department at Isetan Shinjuku, which reopened after a remodel last November, has planned a total of 140 anniversary items to commemorate its first anniversary. The items will be rolled out in stages starting November 6th. Over the past year, sales in each department have been strong, with women's shoes up 115% year-on-year, handbags up 140%, and women's accessories up 145%. The women's shoes section on the second floor of the main building, which celebrated its first anniversary on the 6th, features an exhibit of handwritten designs and messages from Manolo Blahnik, Giuseppe Zanotti, Christian Louboutin, and others. Additionally, Isetan Mitsukoshi's original brand, Number Twenty-One, selected six designs from the submitted designs submitted by students from Bunka Fashion College in collaboration with the editor-in-chief of the magazine "Soen." With the cooperation of the brand's designer and the artisans in Asakusa responsible for production, the items were turned into products. On the first day, the students themselves worked on the sales floor, serving customers, and eight pairs were sold. For this anniversary, a total of 60 limited-edition women's shoe items will be available. A website specifically for women's shoes will also be launched on the same day. Jimmy Choo's Cruise Collection handbags will be available from the 27th to commemorate the first anniversary. The Alison soft clutch and Anna shoulder bag in white and mint green are exclusive to Isetan Shinjuku. A total of 40 limited-edition items will also be available, including the Givenchy Nightingale, Fendi Peekaboo, and Loewe Amazona. Also, as part of the first-anniversary project, limited-edition scarves will be available from the 27th in collaboration with Atsushi Nakashima and Amber, along with limited-edition hats, gloves, socks, towels, and more. A total of 36 limited-edition items will be available, including a Muveil makeup pouch.
