NUMBER TWENTY-ONE, the original women's shoe brand launched by Isetan Mitsukoshi two years ago, has collaborated with three domestic sneaker factories renowned for their unique manufacturing techniques to develop a new brand, NUMBER TWENTY-ONE THE BLISS (hereafter referred to as THE BLISS), this fall. Sales began on the 11th.

The BLISS is NUMBER TWENTY-ONE's first off-scene item, and is made up of three lines created in collaboration with three of Japan's top sneaker factories, with a focus on "Made in Japan."

The BLISS MOONSTAR line, created in collaboration with Moonstar, a company founded in 1873 that possesses the vulcanization technique, one of the few in Japan, features sneakers made using Kurume Kasuri fabric from Kurume, Fukuoka, where the company is headquartered.

"THE BLISS Rhythm," developed in collaboration with Daikobe Shoes, a company that has been manufacturing in Kobe, a leading producer of synthetic shoes in Japan, based on a historical background, produces genuine leather wedge sneakers that are easy to walk in.

"THE BLISS 72 Puntre," also created in collaboration with a sneaker factory in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, whose quality is highly trusted by global sports brands, offers color-blocked sneakers that are easy to coordinate with pumps.

Prices for both lines are in the 10,000 yen range, ranging from 10,500 yen to 19,950 yen (all prices include tax), and will be sold at Isetan Shinjuku, Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, Ginza Mitsukoshi, and Nagoya Sakae Mitsukoshi (only available at Nagoya Sakae Mitsukoshi from the 18th). The brand's website has also been newly redesigned and launched.
