MIKIMOTO will release a collaborative jewelry collection with Sanrio's popular character Hello Kitty, "MIKIMOTO x HELLO KITTY," in January 2014. Hello Kitty, beloved worldwide since her birth in 1974, has been transformed into playful, design-driven jewelry by MIKIMOTO, a jeweler with 120 years of experience delivering beauty to the world. The collection includes 20 items, including a multi-strand long necklace and earring set (¥29,085,000) featuring Hello Kitty's face made of ruby and onyx, and a silver bangle (¥57,750) shaped like Hello Kitty's silhouette. The collection debuted at the Paris select shop "colette" on January 24th. Sales will begin on the 30th at the Ginza flagship store, followed by directly managed stores throughout Japan and MIKIMOTO stores in select department stores. The product will be gradually rolled out to Mikimoto bases overseas, including Europe, the United States, and Asia.
