An UNDERCOVER pop-up store opened on the third floor of the main building of the Isetan Shinjuku store from April 24th to April 30th. Seven items from the new "Sue UNDERCOVER" line will be available for pre-sale, and denim featuring animal and character motifs from the Spring/Summer collection will be available exclusively at the pop-up shop. Each item is unique, with different motif combinations and placements. The much-talked-about "UNDERCOVER x Hello Kitty" collaboration, released in 2007 and 2009, is also making a comeback. This time, "Patty & Jimmy," "My Melody," and "Kiki & Lala" have been added, and collaboration T-shirts and tote bags featuring these four Sanrio characters will also be available for pre-sale. The pop-up shop will also sell accessories, including wallets and bangles. Approximately 30 items will be available.
It has just been announced that Sue Undercover will debut in the 2013-14 Autumn/Winter season as Undercover's second line, alongside the men's line John Undercover. It is scheduled to be fully launched in other stores from August.
