Shu Uemura will release a Christmas collection this winter called "Six Heart Princess by Takashi Murakami for Shu," in collaboration with contemporary artist Takashi Murakami. The collection includes 19 items. The packaging design features "6HP (Six Heart Princess)," an all-CG animation work planned, conceived, and directed by Murakami. 6HP, which was unveiled at Murakami's solo exhibition held at the Palace of Versailles in France in 2010, is an adventure story about a "witch girl," a genre of Japanese animation. Using two icons—the heroine "Pink Princess" and the "Black Princess," created specifically for this collaboration—the collection expresses the "dual nature" of women. The individual items include "Lip and Cheek Fantasy" in five limited colors (2,940 yen each), "Lasting Soft Gel Pencil" in two limited colors (2,100 yen each), "Mini Nail Duo" in two limited varieties (2,625 yen each), false eyelashes "Princess Love in Wing Eyelash" (2,730 yen), "Black Jewel on Wing Premium Eyelash" (5,250 yen each), "A/O Youth Glow Cleansing Oil" (450 ml each / 7,875 yen, 9,450 yen), "UV Underbase TSUYA Mousse" SPF30 PA++ 50 g (4,200 yen), "Hard and Flower by Murakami S Curler" in one limited variety (1,470 yen), and "Shoes Princess Fantasy Mini Brush Set" in one limited variety (6,825 yen), for a total of nine items. The kits are the "Shu Uemura 6HP Christmas Palette Kit" in two limited edition designs (8,400 yen), the "Shu Uemura 6HP Christmas Foundation Kit" in two limited edition designs (starting from 8,190 yen), and the "Shu Uemura Christmas TSUYA Kit" in two limited edition designs (8,925 yen/11,550 yen). Both the individual items and the kits will be released on November 1st. Additionally, the limited edition "Six Heart Princess Makeup Box" (27,300 yen), featuring a colorful Murakami design on the inside of the box, will be released on December 1st (pre-sale at Hankyu Umeda Main Store on October 23rd and Omotesando Hills on November 1st). A special animation created by Murakami specifically for the collection, "Sickle Heart Princess Pink or Black (6HP Pink or Black)," is scheduled to be released in early October. At the presentation held at Shibuya Hikarie on August 29th, special guest Murakami appeared holding a body pillow with the collection's key visuals printed on both sides. A makeup show and live performance were also held.
