Balenciaga has released the "Balenciaga Toe," a collaboration shoe with Italian footwear brand Vibram.
Vibram, known as the world leader in rubber sole production, is also well known for its patented "FiveFingers" design, which features five separate toes and a flexible sole that conforms to the foot for improved tactile sensation while walking or climbing.
The newly released "Balenciaga Toe" collection consists of sneaker and high heel styles, and includes three styles: "Toe Lace Up," "Toe Sock," and "Heeled Toe." Each piece is made from recycled knitwear.

The limited-edition Balenciaga Toe Sock, available in carmine red and black, and the limited-edition Balenciaga Toe Lace Up, available in black, feature a sturdy suspension heel. The Balenciaga Heeled Toe, available in neon pink and black, features a molded block heel.
Each Balenciaga toe shoe is fitted with a five-finger foam insole, which encases the foot like a high-tech glove.
The collaborative shoes also feature various Balenciaga and Vibram logos printed or stamped along the edge of the toe and just above the five toes, and each limited-edition pair is sequentially numbered.
