Stacey Bendet's Alice + Olivia will release its 2017 Summer Collection at select stores nationwide and online on June 9th.

Inspired by Kenya, Africa, the collection features vibrant colors evocative of the country's vast landscape. The collection features Alice + Olivia's signature delicate lace, embroidery, and sophisticated embellishments, energetically expressing colorful African culture.

In addition to vivid colors that stand out at resorts, such as scorching red and fresh, oasis-like blue, the flowing silhouettes of maxi dresses, tunics, and halter-neck tops are accentuated by plain, solid-color textiles. Motifs of the majestic scenery and wildlife encountered on the savanna are featured on ruffled blouses, cardigans, and mini dresses, creating a playful and adventurous look. Monochrome dresses are layered with intricate lace featuring botanical motifs, giving the collection a romantic mood.

The exotic motifs found in the traditional Kenyan "kanga" are given a catchy modern makeover with colorful beads and embroidery. These are featured on bomber jackets, skirts, high-rise wide-leg jeans, and other items that are signature pieces of the collection. In addition, there are plenty of must-have items for a positive summer, such as bohemian-inspired dresses, jumpsuits, and blouses, as well as straw hats, wedge sandals, and sunglasses.
