A pop-up event for ENFOLD, directed by Mizuki Ueda, will be held at Center Park on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building from November 13th to November 19th.
The event will showcase new works in collaboration with Japanese painter Sohei Iwata, based on the concept of "embodying fashion and art." In addition to dresses and skirts featuring bold prints of Iwata's artwork, coats embroidered with Iwata's floral motifs will be available exclusively at the event. A wide variety of outerwear will also be available, including oversized tailored coats, long down coats, and cocoon coats. Those who purchase outerwear during the event will receive a free pair of knitted long gloves on a first-come, first-served basis. Starting at 2:00 PM on November 16th, Iwata will hold a live painting event themed on "Flowers of the Heart."
ENFOLD was launched in Spring/Summer 2012 by Mizuki Ueda, who launched the popular brand SLY and is currently the company creative director of Baroque Japan Limited. ENFOLD means "to wrap" or "to embrace." Based on the concept of "HIDDEN BEAUTY," the brand offers clothing that envelops the body, incorporating the uniquely Japanese aesthetic of "hidden beauty" and "modesty."
