To commemorate the 85th anniversary of Yoshida & Co., Ltd.'s founding, Levi's(R) and PORTER will release a limited edition collaborative trucker jacket from November 2nd. (Pre-sale begins on October 23rd through PORTER's sales channels.) The main material used for this model is the "TANKER" material synonymous with the PORTER brand.

In the late 1990s, a fashion movement centered on Ura-Harajuku, sparked by highly inspiring creators and celebrities, took the area by storm. Combined with the Levi's(R) vintage denim boom, Levi's(R) and PORTER became the faces of Harajuku, and have since transcended the boundaries of street culture, maintaining an unshakable position among a wide range of people.

Released in 1983, "TANKER" is a series made with original fabric inspired by the US Air Force MA-1 flight jacket, and has now become synonymous with the PORTER brand. The MA-1 motif is not just present on the surface, but is incorporated into every detail with meticulous attention to detail, such as the sage green and black exterior of the fabric and the vibrant rescue orange lining.
This time, in collaboration with Levi's(R) and PORTER, the Levi's(R) Type II Trucker Jacket, which has recently enjoyed a resurgence in popularity among fashion-conscious people, is fitted with "TANKER" textile and is available in two colors: sage green and black. The nylon twill fabric, with its unique TANKER bonded finish, and the rescue orange lining add an important accent to any outfit. Of the two chest pockets that are characteristic of the Type II Trucker Jacket, this collaboration features a removable mini pouch in the right pocket, which can be used as a shoulder bag by attaching the included strap. The pouch features a gusseted front pocket, a PORTER-esque pocket on the inside, and the front features snap buttons made specifically for this project and bearing the names of both the Levi's(R) and PORTER brands. The jacket also features side pockets in addition to the chest pocket, providing outstanding storage capacity.

Combining practicality and functional beauty, this is an item that fans of both brands will adore.

About Yoshida & Co., Ltd.:
Founded in 1935 in Kanda, Tokyo as Yoshida Bag Manufacturing by bag craftsman Yoshida Kichizo. Yoshizo is very strict when it comes to "manufacturing," and this spirit of "putting your heart and soul into every stitch" has now become the company's motto. This represents the determination to not cut corners in any process, from material selection to design and sewing, just as if each stitch is carefully sewn together.

The main brand "PORTER," launched in 1962, is based on the founder's belief that "a bag should first and foremost be a tool for carrying luggage," and aims to create bags that become more familiar the more you use them, and that you will love using them for a long time. The brand name comes from the fact that porters, who look after customers' bags at hotels and other places, are always in contact with bags and know the quality of a bag.
