Swedish fragrance brand BYREDO has released its 2016 Holiday Collection.

"COLOR CANDLES" (9,500 yen) is a new fragrance candle with an eye-catching, uniquely colored glass holder. It comes in three colors: dark green "Bibliotheque," light amber "Cotton Poplin," and dark purple "Fleur Fantome."

"1996" (25,000 yen) is a reproduction of a fragrance that director Ben Gorham only gave out to close friends. It comes in a set of three 12ml travel eau de parfum bottles and a special red leather case. Also available is "LA ELECTION DE FETE" (16,000 yen), a box set containing six 12ml eau de parfums carefully selected for the 2016 holiday season. The lineup includes "BAL D'AFRIQUE," "BLANCHE," "GYPSY WATER," "MOJAVE GHOST," "LA TULIP," and "SUPER CEADER." Additionally, three new fragrance candles, "SAINT," are available, inspired by "prayer candles" used in places of worship. Prayer candles are candles housed in tall glass vessels decorated with religious motifs such as portraits of saints and quotations from the Bible. They have long been used as offerings to churches and are also popular as devotional tools and decorative items. This time, three scents are available: "Alter," "Rosewater," and "Incense."
