The annual fragrance festival, "Isetan Salon de Parfum," is upon us. From November 22nd to 28th, the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building's 7th floor event space will feature a selection of fragrances from brands around the world, as well as various events hosted by fragrance professionals.
This year's theme is "Connecting, My Fragrance," and the "CONNECTION ITEM" will feature a variety of scents perfect for sharing with loved ones. There will also be a variety of exclusive kits and gifts for purchasers. Shiseido, Lancome, and Yves Saint Laurent will also be exhibiting for the first time this year. Even those familiar with cosmetics but not yet familiar with fragrance will be able to experience the charms of fragrance through a presentation that makes them feel closer to them.
Three new brands will also be making their debut at the venue. The exhibition will feature Miya Shinma Parfums, a Japanese perfumer; Garment, which proposes fragrances from a fashion perspective; and Miller Harris, a British maison brand known for its striking botanical bottle illustrations. Events showcasing the essence of each brand include "Experience Luxurious Japanese Fragrances as Taught by Paris" (November 25th, Miya Shinma Parfums); "Experience Fragrance Filters: A New Way to Wear Perfume" (November 27th, Garment); and "Live Painting by mio matsumoto" (November 23rd, Miller Harris), an illustrator who worked on the brand's packaging project. There are also many other special events lined up, including a talk event on fragrances by models Noriko Maeda and Rei Hibino (November 26th, Bluebell Japan), a perfumery experience presented by Guerlain's fragrance development director, Atelier du Parfum (November 25th to 27th, Guerlain), and a fragrance seminar, "Travelling to Paris with the Scents of Diptyque" (November 23rd, Diptyque). Why not visit Isetan Salon de Parfum for the chance to encounter an exceptional fragrance?
