Ginza Tsutaya Books (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) has teamed up with Takeda Mold Factory in Tsubame-Sanjo, a company boasting world-class craftsmanship, to launch the Ginza Tsutaya Books-exclusive "Magic Metal Cube," available exclusively in stores and online from October 12th.

Magic Metal is a mysterious metal gear in which metal letters emerge from the metal, and can be used as interior décor or a paperweight. It is a masterpiece characterized by its precision, and the curves of the letters that emerge are incredibly beautiful.

It boasts such high precision that the gap between the letters and the base is just 3 microns (1 micron is 1/1000 of a millimeter), and when the letters are placed inside the cube, there is absolutely no trace that the letters were ever there.
