Louis Vuitton has released the Japan-exclusive "LV Cozy Line Mules," a men's shoe from the "Louis Vuitton LV Squared Collection" (hereinafter referred to as LV2), created by Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh and NIGO(R), on October 7th.
The "LV Cozy Line Mules," a slip-on shoe offering comfortable wear, are designed with a micro rubber sole and calf leather. Functional elements include soft shearling on the inside, a padded insole, and a lightweight outsole. Furthermore, the special "LV2" initials, symbolizing this collection, are adorned with gold hardware, adding an accent to the beige upper and emanating an urban atmosphere.
This project, born from the longstanding friendship between these two, has always traveled alongside them. While faithfully embodying the Maison's traditions, the collection reinterprets the dandy fashion of the 1960s Mod era, popular primarily in London, through the lens of Tokyo.
