Prada is releasing a new addition to its iconic "Minimal Baroque" sunglasses collection. The "Minimal Baroque" collection, first introduced in 2011, is characterized by bold curls. Its designs, featuring acanthus leaves, laurel branches, and palm fronds in smooth curves, are reminiscent of the floral and foliage motifs of the Baroque era. The new collection features three models that express the previously vibrant and complex motifs with more refined, smoother curves. The first of these is a striking pair of sunglasses (priced at ¥48,000) featuring a playful wide frame and carefully crafted contrasts. The nuanced color, combined with vibrant acetate, creates a low-relief effect, while the artistic asymmetrical and curved frame silhouette, paired with round lenses, creates a deep design. Available in three colors: Havana or black, with ivory and red accents.
The second is a classic and clean model (39,000 yen). The rounded, oversized frame is made of layered acetate in two colors and combined with curled temples that create a low-relief effect. It comes in four colors: black and Havana with accents of spot Havana, ivory, or red.
The last is a model (55,000 yen) that exudes elegance with bold metal decoration. The oversized frame is accented with a double bridge and hinges, and the striking symmetrical curled temples are decorated with swirl and star motifs. The sunglasses are finished in the style of butterfly wings. It comes in three colors: black, Havana, and ivory with accents of bright red and spot Havana.
