Prada has unveiled its Resort 2017 advertising campaign. Photographed by Willy Vanderperre, the campaign stars actress Jessica Chastain and was shot in locations close to Prada's heart in Milan, including the newly established Prada Foundation, the Ulrico Hoepli Planetarium, and Via Daniele Magnin. In the campaign, Chastain is seen embarking on a journey packed with only her essentials, wearing pieces that epitomize the brand's approach to contradictions: striking contrasts of texture and pattern, a blend of femininity and masculinity, and a reinterpretation of Prada's signature shapes and materials. Often referred to as an "actor's actor," Chastain has an insatiable desire to take on new characters, exploring entirely different worlds in which to create them, no matter what role she takes on. Her appearance gives us a sense of similarity with Prada.
