Coohem, which has developed photogenic and pop-colored knit tweeds that transcend the conventional notion of knitwear, will be holding "Coohem KNIT TWEED LIFE" from November 23rd to December 25th at the PASS THE BATON GALLERY inside the PASS THE BATON Omotesando store in Omotesando Hills.
Coohem uses the interweaving technique from which the brand is named, and through repeated experimentation and trial and error, creates knit tweeds that have the feel of woven tweed. Coohem has announced the debut of a line of miscellaneous goods featuring wallets, pouches, card cases, notebooks, and other items created using the knit tweed archives.
In advance of the debut, the line will be unveiled at the PASS THE BATON Gallery. During the exhibition, limited-edition items using deadstock yarns, such as knit caps and scarves, and fancy yarn remnants, will be available, proposing Coohem's vision of a life filled with knit tweed. Additionally, Coohem director Ken Oe is scheduled to visit from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on November 23rd.
