Starting November 28th, the release date of the 2016 Holiday Collection, H&M is airing a short version of its 2016 Holiday campaign film, directed by Wes Anderson, one of the most respected directors of recent years, as a TV commercial. The full, approximately four-minute version is also available on the brand's official website.
The campaign film was directed by Wes Anderson, the renowned director behind films such as "The Royal Tenenbaums" and "The Grand Budapest Hotel," and stars Anderson's longtime collaborator, actor Adrien Brody. Based on the theme of "Come together," the film tells the story of a magical Christmas train, the "H&M Winter Express," traveling through winter scenery.
Brody plays the conductor of the "H&M Winter Express" Christmas train. Passengers wearing H&M's holiday collection celebrate Christmas in the snowy scenery aboard the H&M Winter Express. The collection, available for women, men, and children, features elegant pieces in the film, including a gorgeous gray knit with glitter detailing, a sharp blazer perfect for dressing up, soft sweaters, and a midi-length metallic pleated skirt. Brody said of the film, "The climax of this H&M Christmas film sees all the passengers gathered in the caboose for a hot cup of cocoa. This coming together of strangers on a train is a simple yet beautiful expression of the holiday spirit. In a world where hugging strangers seems so necessary, perhaps these warm moments resonate even more."
