Coach has unveiled its Winter 2026 collection by Creative Director Stuart Vevers.

Titled Analog Dreams, the collection reinterprets American heritage through the free spirit of 1980s New Wave, youth culture, and contemporary personal style. Rather than looking back with nostalgia, Vevers envisions a wardrobe for unexpected encounters and spontaneous discoveries. In an increasingly digital world, the collection encourages stepping into real-life experiences through fashion.

Dressing for Life Beyond the Screen

Vevers explains that the collection began with a simple idea: dressing for a gathering.

Instead of remaining behind a screen, Analog Dreams celebrates going out into the world, meeting new people, and embracing unexpected moments. It captures the anticipation of getting dressed without knowing where the night might lead, while encouraging individuality and self-expression.

Rather than recreating a specific era, the collection translates remembered emotions and atmospheres into a contemporary wardrobe. It is less about nostalgia than about giving familiar feelings a new narrative.

Reimagining 1980s New Wave Through Contemporary Elegance

The ready-to-wear draws inspiration from the expressive freedom and experimental spirit of 1980s New Wave culture.

Velvet tuxedos and blazers feature broad shoulders and refined tailoring, creating modern silhouettes. Tulle dresses and skirts adorned with ribbons, alongside long-sleeved chiffon dresses embellished with crushed velvet and crystals, introduce an eveningwear-inspired sense of glamour.

Outerwear includes pastel-toned leather jackets contrasted with black accents, as well as heritage-inspired shearling coats. Long-hair shearling and bold cheetah patterns extend across bags, shoes, and belts, becoming recurring motifs throughout the collection.

Meanwhile, Fair Isle sweaters, V-neck knits, and pastel cardigans reinterpret American traditional style with a playful spirit, balancing classic design with contemporary ease.

Felix the Cat as a Symbol of Curiosity

Returning as one of the collection's defining motifs is Felix the Cat.

Appearing across intarsia knits, sweatshirts, T-shirts, and throughout the collection, Felix represents more than a tribute to American pop culture.

According to Vevers, Felix returns for the first time in a decade as a symbol of curiosity and first encounters. Rather than evoking nostalgia, the character reflects the collection's invitation to step into the unknown with openness and optimism.

Leather Goods That Carry the Archive Forward

The leather goods reinterpret Coach's iconic silhouettes while evolving the House's archival designs for today.

The Kisslock Frame Bag returns in new colorways, joined by the debut of the softly sculpted Kisslock Heart Bag. Inspired by archival pieces, the Turnlock Envelope Bag combines heritage colors with vibrant new palettes.

The Kisslock Barrel Bag and Turnlock Messenger Bag, first introduced last season, have been refined into more compact proportions, adapting Coach's craftsmanship to contemporary lifestyles.

Footwear also expands the collection's narrative, with the return of the Skate Sneaker in new colorways inspired by vintage roller skates, alongside long-toe Derby shoes and pastel Mary Janes.

Craftsmanship That Gives the Past New Life

Coach's ongoing commitment to sustainability is also an indispensable element when discussing this collection. Multicolor skirts made from upcycled vintage tulle and varsity jackets reconstructed from multiple vintage jackets are attempts to incorporate the history of the materials themselves into the design.

Throughout the lookbook, Analog Dreams is presented not as a return to the past, but as a process of transforming history into something new. Checked shirting expands into dresses, frame bags soften into fluid silhouettes, and pearl necklaces are interrupted by resin moons and stars, giving familiar elements unexpected new forms.
