Rather than drawing boundaries between contrasting values, beautiful people has long explored how they might coexist. That ongoing inquiry is reflected in the brand’s latest collaboration.

beautiful people has announced its first collaboration with BRIEFING, the gear brand known for connecting urban life and the outdoors. The collection comprises three styles—a backpack, tote bag, and shoulder bag—combining military-derived functionality with an all-gender sensibility designed to suit different identities and ways of dressing.



Different Identities, Brought Together

The collaboration began by replacing the black most closely associated with BRIEFING with ecru, a shade rooted in beautiful people’s own brand identity.

beautiful people has consistently approached contrasting values not as opposing forces, but as qualities capable of enhancing one another. By layering the softness of ecru over BRIEFING’s military-informed functional design, the collaboration reveals a new side of the gear brand while creating a collection intended to be carried naturally by anyone.



Expressing an All-Gender Perspective Through Color

Canvas has been selected as the primary material. BRIEFING’s functional details remain intact, while the signature red line running through its nylon tape has been replaced with paired red and blue lines created specifically for the collaboration.

The two colors evoke ideas of femininity and masculinity. Rather than privileging one over the other, their juxtaposition expresses an all-gender beauty in which different identities are allowed to coexist.

More than a simple color treatment, the detail visualizes a set of values that beautiful people has continued to explore throughout its practice.



Two Brand Identities Embedded in the Details

The collection introduces a collaborative logo that discreetly incorporates the initials “BP” into the BRIEFING wordmark. Special-edition brand tags and pale pink linings further distinguish the bags as products of the partnership.

Inside, laptop sleeves and multiple compartments preserve the generous storage capacity and practicality associated with BRIEFING. The result balances the visual refinement of a fashion piece with the everyday function of a working bag.



Bags Made to Move Across Boundaries

The lineup consists of three styles: the CANVAS GYM PACK, which accommodates a laptop of approximately 14 inches; the spacious CANVAS DISCRETE TOTE; and the compact, two-way CANVAS SLIM SHOULDER BAG. All three are offered in natural white.
