BABY-G has always pursued fashionable and tough functionality for stylish, active women, and Beautiful People continues to create new beauty supported by craftsmanship. Although their tastes and fields are different, the two companies resonated with each other's approach to craftsmanship, leading to the realization of this collaboration.
This pure white watch, which appears to have been carved out of plaster, is based on the new BABY-G model "BGA-270." The plaster design was inspired by the interior of Beautiful People's Shibuya PARCO store, which opened in November 2019, and the watch was carefully crafted to express a unique texture that lies somewhere between inorganic and organic.
The packaging, which will be available exclusively in Japan, is also entirely white, with the only exception being the hands, which are Beautiful People's iconic neon colors, adding an accent to the design.
Under the brand concept of "combining opposing elements to create new beauty," Beautiful People has continued to attempt to propose new forms of beauty by interpreting sporty, high-performance materials from a unique perspective. In this latest collaboration, by combining the tough and sporty BABY-G with Beautiful People's unique sense and perspective, items that are uniquely Beautiful People have been created that are fashionable and functional and can be used by both men and women.
In Japan, it is available at Beautiful People's directly managed stores (Aoyama store, Shibuya Parco store) and Beautiful People's official online shop (https://beautiful-people.jp/).
