Beautiful People and Mizuno have collaborated for the first time. Sneakers and backpacks will be available. Release dates vary depending on the item, with sneakers available from March 20th and backpacks from April 20th.
The sneakers will be available in advance at Dover Street Market Ginza from March 13th and at Beautiful People's official online shop from March 16th.
Skeleton sneakers with a color scheme you can change with socks
"bp x Mizuno sneaker" (¥34,000) The newly released "bp x Mizuno sneaker" combines the skeleton sole of Mizuno's "INFINITY WAVE," designed for cushioning and stability, with the skeleton upper featured in the "CHRONO INX 9," the latest model in the CHRONO INX series, which has supported track and field athletes' achievements for over 20 years. The design allows you to change the color scheme of the shoes by changing the color of the socks you wear.
This shoe embodies the spirit of Beautiful People, who create "things that seem possible but never were," as well as the theme of this collaboration, "The ultimate beauty lies in functionality." Sizes range from 23cm to 29cm in 1cm increments.
A shape-shifting backpack, also available in a model equipped with a cooling fan
"bp x Mizuno backpack with fan" (¥44,600), "bp x Mizuno backpack" (¥28,000)*Available in two versions: with or without a cooling fan and battery.
In response to the extreme heat of recent years, Mizuno developed the "Aero Bag," which is equipped with a battery-powered air conditioning fan. This backpack system helps release heat by blowing air around the back and neck.
The specially made aero bag, the "bp x Mizuno backpack with fan," is designed so that when the fan is turned on, the backpack itself inflates like a balloon, and the flap has a name tag engraved with the Mizuno and Beautiful People collaboration logo. The fan part is detachable, so it can be used as a regular backpack when not in use.
A model with a cooling fan but no battery, the "bp x Mizuno backpack," will also be available.
