Innovation in Continuity
Creative Director Peter Mullier focuses on the concept of "continuum." It is the very essence of AlaÏA's spirit, connecting the past to the future, and a testament to its timeless innovation. Mulliez has inherited Azzedine Alaïa's concept of "timelessness" while breathing new life into it. This season's collection is not an extension of the past, but a form of beauty renewed through continuity.

Construction and Release—Strength in Reduction
The collection is permeated with architectural precision and pared-down beauty. Materials such as cotton, leather, silk, and python harmonize while exuding contrasting presences. The two poles of luxury and simplicity coexist with clear boundaries, reflecting Alaïa's pursuit of absolute beauty.

The Spirit of the Uniform
The "spirit of the uniform," inspired by Azzedine's own style, remains an important element this season. Reconstructed from workwear, the designs incorporate functionality and quiet strength, elevating them into "equipment for life" that accompanies the modern body. This embodies Alaïa's unique philosophy of quiet beauty nestled within functionality.

Creative freedom born from craft
Craft is the source of creativity for Alaïa. Starting with the question, "Is it possible to weave pearls?", the handcrafted macramé decorations and pearls flow and move around the body, changing appearance as the light catches them. Alaïa's modernity lies in this delicate movement.

Sculpted by Tension
The keyword used by Mulier this season is "tension." Gender, restraint and excess, concealment and reveal, past and future—the tension between opposing elements brings beauty to the designs. On the runway, images and mirror images intersected, with the models appearing to float on the boundary between them. Actual tension and torsion were applied to the clothes, drawing the fabric closer to the body and lifting it up, creating new silhouettes. Within this architectural beauty, one could clearly sense the movement and breathing of women.

Deconstruction and reconstruction – movement creates form
A dress is deconstructed and reconstructed by slits. Fragments of fabric move against the skin, transforming into a single sculpture through movement. The fringe responds to the body's movements, shattering and reconstructing the silhouette. Beauty lies not in stillness, but in continuous movement.

The fabric shines like a teardrop, flowing gracefully, yet possessing both strength and fragility. It is the culmination of the love and creativity that the Alaïa brand has nurtured over time. Thanks to Pieter Mulliez, the aesthetic of "continuous innovation" has been given new form. Unstoppable, unchanging, and ever-evolving, Alaïa's eternity is embodied in this journey.
