The Dior Spring/Summer 2026 women's collection was unveiled at the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris on October 1, 2025. This was the first ready-to-wear collection by new Artistic Director Jonathan Anderson, showcasing a deep connection to the House's long-standing traditions while reinterpreting them and connecting them to the future.

Deciphering Dior's "Language"
For his first collection since taking over, Jonathan Anderson meticulously explored the designs and philosophy hidden within the Dior archives. His approach isn't a citation of the past, but an intelligent reinterpretation of the house's "language." The iconic bow is reimagined in various ways, appearing on pinch-front coats, draped cotton drill miniskirts, airy lace dresses, and Dior Cigale top-handle bags.

The shrunken Bar jacket is given new sculptural volume, and slim, billowing capes and structured shorts are added to create a "tension of beauty" that lies between classic and modern. Anderson's work demonstrates his respect for Dior's DNA, while also expressing his determination to portray the "freedom of construction" through his own sensibility.

Space as a "Memory Box"—A World Directed by Luca Guadagnino
The show was staged in a minimalist show space designed by film director Luca Guadagnino and designer Stefano Baisi. The production, which combines physical space and digital images, symbolically expresses the concept of "memory," which has long been cherished by Dior.

An upside-down LED pyramid was set up in the center of the venue, onto which a special video by filmmaker Adam Curtis was projected. It displayed fragments of the brand's historical moments and symbols, eventually converging on the iconic Dior shoebox. It was like a moment when an archive of accumulated time and memories was being brought back to the present, a moment in which Anderson's new Dior "relives history."

Anderson's work goes beyond reinterpreting the classics. He combines Dior's iconic construction with his own avant-garde manipulation of materials to express a new lightness and intimacy at the same time. The tailoring is sharp yet playful, and materials such as lace, cotton, and drill have a natural warmth that feels effortless against the skin.
