New materials and models, including stretch, are now available in the A.P.C. denim series.

Mar 4, 2014

New materials and models have been added to the A.P.C. denim series. The unwashed indigo jeans, a signature item of the brand developed by Jean Touitou in 1987, are characterised by a simple design, a carefully selected number of styles and stiff material, but this time a significant number of variations have been added. New stretch denim developed in Japan is also used.

Three types of stretch denim have been introduced for women. The key style, "Jean Moulant" (19,000 yen, 21,000 yen), is characterised by a slightly higher waist that fits snugly against the legs. The collection includes the "JEAN ETROIT COURT" (¥19,000, ¥21,000) with its cropped length and low waist, the "JEAN TAILLE HAUTE" (¥19,000) with its high waist and wide leg in stretch denim, and a short, 70s-style denim skirt (¥15,000) with front pockets. All are made with stretch denim.

For men, the collection also includes stretch denim, dyed black denim, and washed denim for the first time. The collection includes the existing "NEW STANDARD" and "PETIT NEW STANDARD" stretch denim models (¥21,000 each), an iconic denim jacket with a workwear-inspired shape and chest pocket (¥25,000), and two classic Americana denim jackets (¥25,000 each).

Available at all A.P.C. stores and the official online shop.
