Mame Kurogouchi, created by Maiko Kurogouchi, presented her Spring/Summer 2021 collection at Paris Fashion Week (PARIS FASHION WEEK ONLINE).

Mame Kurogouchi's Spring/Summer 2021 collection focuses on the role of windows in separating and connecting the two worlds of inside and outside, bringing landscapes burned into designer Maiko Kurogouchi's own memories back to life in the form of clothing, and taking on the challenge of expressing the passage of time in a new way.
"Travel," an important part of the brand's DNA and an idea central to the collections to date, this time turns not to the outside world but to the designer's own inwardness.

This iconic dress, inspired by the openwork embroidery found on lace curtains, evokes nostalgia, while meticulous cutting, volume control, and the generous use of signature embroidery create a unique presence, embodying this season's elegant attitude.
The color palette is pure white, soft ecru, and pastel yellow, reminiscent of curtains that have been exposed to intense sunlight for many years and have faded. The natural color shades give the collection a rich, time-honored visual.

The embroidery techniques used on the clothing are also applied to the accessories, further enhancing the classic mood of the collection. The sheer bucket hat is covered in floral embroidery, creating shadows that resemble dappled sunlight filtering through the trees when the sun shines through. The season's striking scarves are also made of soft silk organza with lavishly embroidered floral motifs, and can be transformed into headpieces or scarves using strings.
The earrings, which are popular every season, are now available in a milky white color that is reminiscent of frosted glass. Be sure to check out the motif that seems to crystallize the budding buds of spring. The iconic cord embroidered bag series that was introduced last season will be added to the brand's collection as a new staple, with new colors and a new model.
