Celebrity favorite shoes brand "Rupert Sanderson" opens limited-time store at Matsuya Ginza

Mar 17, 2014

Rupert Sanderson, a British shoe brand beloved by celebrities like Amy Adams, has opened a pop-up shop at the H.P. France boutique on the second floor of Matsuya Ginza. It will be open until March 30th. The shop will stock pieces from the Spring/Summer 2014 collection, including "Mitzy," a wedge style with kaleidoscope-like raffia weave, "Nion," featuring zip-up straps, and "NIVETH," a collection that combines lime-colored metallic leather and transparent vinyl. Designer Rupert Sanderson studied shoemaking at Cordwainers College, University of the Arts London, and gained experience at Sergio Rossi and Bruno Magli before founding his own brand in 2001. His stylish, feminine designs have been highly praised, and in 2008 he won the British Fashion Council's Accessory Designer of the Year award.
