IDEE's new concept store, IDEE SHOP Nihombashi, will open on March 20th inside Nihonbashi Coredo Muromachi 3. This is the first IDEE store in six years since the Jiyugaoka store opened in March 2008.
The store has an area of approximately 165.29 square meters. It offers IDEE's original furniture, as well as international crafts, works by young artists, antiques, recycled and upcycled items, combined with basic, high-quality miscellaneous goods. Through seasonal developments and displays, the store will offer ideas and hints for living a more fulfilling lifestyle.
The first opening event will feature a special exhibition by dyeing artist Samiro Yunoki, "Living with Yunoki Samiro's Fabrics," where Yunoki's works coordinated with furniture will be displayed and sold in the interior shop space. Additionally, as a commemorative item for the opening, the Hasami ware cup series by BIRDS'WORDS will be on sale, with a special green color being added in addition to the standard colors. Tableware from Birbira, a pottery brand created by artist Kanako Nakano, will also be available.
