Delier IDEE, an interior design shop on the 4th floor of Shin-Maru Building, will be holding the Owada Narumi exhibition "Dress Crack" from September 4th until the 18th.
"Dress Crack" is an object made of Styrofoam molded into the shape of a bird, with the shavings of 100 pencils attached to it, representing a hen wearing a jet-black dress. It will be exhibited in the store's window along with other interior items. The work also won the IDEE Sponsor's Special Award at the Eco & Art Award 2013, a competition sponsored by Konica Minolta.
Owada is currently studying design at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts. In addition to working as a graphic designer, she has also exhibited in group exhibitions.
