Intimissimi, the sensual Italian lingerie brand that has been gaining attention, has welcomed Przemek Sobczyk as its second artist to exhibit his urban, fresh artworks in its art space, which opened in April.

Przemek Sobczyk is a Polish artist based in Tokyo and Asia. His artwork, primarily consisting of illustrations, spans a wide range, including window displays, murals, and short animations. He has previously collaborated with designers Stephen Jones and Manish Arora, as well as artist Joanna Wang. He has also provided work to a variety of clients, including Isetan, Louis Vuitton, Park Hyatt Tokyo, and Elle Japan, and teaches at Vantan Design Institute.
This art space will feature his unique illustrations titled "WHO is Who?" Through his portraits of a variety of different women, he expresses that we are all different. He also expresses that everyone has an individual story that speaks to our diverse backgrounds, and that all people, including ourselves, are constantly changing and evolving, and that our differences connect us.

The works in this exhibition were not created all at once, but rather were created very spontaneously throughout his past, influenced by the circumstances and moods of the time. Some were created after further consideration, while others were inspired by special moments. Some are based on his old sketches, and they are part of his personal journey, representing his constant evolution and experimentation. Behind each artwork lies a personal message. The different words for each piece can only be viewed by the owner of the artwork or by those who are able to see behind the artwork. Hidden within them are personal messages from the women depicted in the artwork, as well as the small "stories" that each woman holds.

Like the previous issue, Przemek Sobczyk, featured this time around, was curated by CTAG (Central Tokyo Arts Gallery), an up-and-coming art gallery that is garnering attention. We welcome new artists approximately every two months and exhibit their works in the art space at Intimissimi Shibuya Bunkamura-dori.

CTAG, which showcases the works and projects of urban artists, values "creating opportunities for people and society to actively engage with art." Intimissimi also hopes to provide many shop visitors with an opportunity to experience both art from artists around the world and the fashion expressed by Intimissimi through this wonderful art space. To celebrate the launch of this exhibition, Przemek Sobczyk will personally visit the Intimissimi Shibuya Bunkamura-dori store on September 29th.

What Intimissimi aims to deliver through Intimissimi Art Space is "Beyond Words," or "emotions that cannot be put into words." We hope that many people will enjoy the world of Intimissimi together through this wonderful art space.
