As a guest of honor at Pitti Immagine Uomo 108, HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE presented its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, "Amid Impasto of Horizons — Stacked Horizons—," at Villa MediceadellaPetraia in Florence, a building associated with the Medici family.

The creation of this collection began with a journey with a single brush. Traveling through towns teeming with abundant natural scenery and everyday life, the designer collected colors, which then merged with the ideas that sprouted there. Drawing inspiration from everyday scenes, the pieces naturally blend with everyday people, becoming special "everyday wear" for each individual. This collection marks the first step in a new chapter for the brand, breaking new ground at Pitti Immagine Uomo.

The set where the collection was presented was designed by Andrea Faraguna and Michael Kleine. It was inspired by the tranquil beauty of Medici gardens, preserved for centuries, and historic Tuscan architecture. The scene, created by the various cleverly placed sprinklers, is a vivid depiction of an old-fashioned garden, harmonizing with the timeless and tranquil landscape.

PAINTER'S GEAR
This series was born from the idea of storing the tools needed to collect colors. The pockets, of different shapes and sizes, are convenient for carrying not only brushes, paints, and other art tools, but also everyday accessories. Pair it with a shirt or jacket for a functional look.

LINEN LIKE
A tailored series characterized by a linen-like texture and a smooth, breathable material. The cool, shiny material gives off a spring/summer vibe. It also has more firmness than traditional jersey material, accentuating the three-dimensional silhouette.

CARRIER CARRIED
A series born from the idea of wearing a garment bag to carry clothes. It is packable and can be folded into a garment bag when not in use. When traveling, the bag you use to carry your clothes becomes the clothing itself, and it is an item that combines playfulness and practicality, as it takes the wearer with it wherever they go.
