PIERRE HERME PARIS's "Jardin Series," a macaron collection themed around a garden, first launched in 2012 and garnered acclaim, will be relaunched on April 1st. This time around, one flavor will be available each month from April to November (except June). The April flavor is "Jardin de Loup," inspired by the herb "roux," a relative of the pepper plant. It features sweet milk chocolate with a hint of ginger. Following in May is "Jardin d'Hiver Tresor," inspired by Hong Kong's eight-treasure tea. Its flavor, which can be described as "edible roasted green tea," makes the most of the unique flavors of each ingredient, including lotus seeds, roses, and chrysanthemums. In July, "Jardin Subtil" will be released, capturing the refreshing flavors of grapefruit, blood orange, and lime. August will see the release of "Jardin Sur La Bé d'Along," a Vietnamese-inspired flavor made with ginger and coconut cream.
In September, "Jardin de Surtan" will be released, combining coffee and orange. When you put it in your mouth, you will first taste the coffee, then the orange flavor will gradually become stronger, and finally the scent of orange flower will spread.
In October, "Jardin d'Automne" will be released, an autumn-like flavor with pumpkin cream and corn kernels sandwiched in between, and in November, "Jardin Epise" will be released, using the traditional French pastry "pain d'epice" and bitter chocolate.
Each one will cost 302 yen.
