The Ferrari Portofino M is the first Ferrari to be unveiled since the temporary factory closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and represents a journey of rediscovery.
Ferrari has unveiled its latest car, the Ferrari Portofino M.

This car is an evolution of the Prancing Horse's 2+ GT spider, the Ferrari Portofino. The premiere was held entirely online, a first in Maranello's more than 70-year history.


Following the temporary factory closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this car could be said to mark the Prancing Horse's "relaunch" in its pursuit of innovation, while still respecting Ferrari's heritage, passion and relentless pursuit of perfection. The Ferrari Portofino M embodies all of these values. Incidentally, "M" stands for "Modificata," and is a name that Ferrari has used to refer to models that have undergone evolution to boost performance.



A significant evolution from the Ferrari Portofino, this new model is packed with technological innovations, notably a redesigned powertrain, an all-new eight-speed gearbox and a five-position manettino with Race mode, making its debut on a Maranello GT spider.

Adding to these a host of new technologies, the Ferrari Portofino M is an unprecedented vehicle that combines true GT performance with driving pleasure, agility and exceptional everyday versatility.

The powertrain of this car is a 3855 cc engine from the V8 turbo family, which has been named International Engine of the Year four times in a row, and has been optimized to produce a maximum power output of 620 hp at 7,500 rpm, 20 hp more than the Ferrari Portofino.
The significant technological advances made by this model are visibly underscored by the new front end design, with the bumper in particular being updated to be sportier and more aggressive. Both the interior and exterior combine expression and purpose, with forms that are sometimes sharper, sometimes softer and more fluid.
