The Japan-India International Industrial Promotion Association (JIIPA), a non-profit organization, will hold the 6th India Trend Fair Tokyo 2020, an exhibition bringing together Indian apparel and home fashion manufacturers, at TOC Gotanda Messe from Wednesday, February 12th to Friday, February 14th.
Indian fashion continues to evolve, from Indian ethnic designs like paisley and chintz to fabric dyeing and various embroidery techniques. With a long history, the Indian textile industry has expanded and spread raw material production and dyeing techniques around the world, drawing attention from Japanese companies as a potential supplier, supplier, and production base. The exhibition, which features "Apparel," "Home Furnishings," "Traditional Indian Fashion," and "Handicrafts," offers a glimpse into Indian fashion. This sixth edition of the show attracts numerous buyers and merchandise buyers every year. It's a valuable three-day opportunity to experience Indian apparel products.
■Indian Fashion Gathers Global Attention

The fashion worn by the characters in the film "Om Shanti Om," which was released in Japan in 2013, became a hot topic. Since then, through Bollywood films, Indian fashion, with its uniquely glocal sensibility, has attracted global attention. Its craftsmanship, which preserves traditional Indian culture through distinctive Indian colors, materials, and beadwork, is once again gaining recognition. This exhibition will showcase the real trends in Indian fashion.
■ Companies dealing in wool, leather, and other winter materials will also be exhibiting

This year's exhibition is co-hosted by the Wool & Woollens Export Promotion Council (WWEPC), an organization affiliated with the Ministry of Textiles of the Government of India. One of the highlights will be the display of winter materials, focusing on the highest quality wool, such as cashmere.
In addition to apparel and accessories for men, women, and children, the exhibition will also feature home furnishings such as bed linens and tableware to enrich your life. Traditional Indian fashion will include Indo-Chikan embroidery and organic cotton, as well as yoga wear from India, the holy land of yoga.
We hope you will experience the charm of Indian fashion, which is attracting attention from around the world.
