Nina Ricci presented its 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection. Artistic Director Peter Copping.
The first half of the show featured daywear, including ensembles, knitwear, and coats. Double-faced coats and skirts featured natural hems that created a drape. The occasional use of fur was also a key feature. It was used on outerwear, as well as shawl-like pieces with simple shoulder straps. Most of the tops had high necks, creating a warm feeling. The colors were a purple gradient with a complementary dark green.
As the show progressed, floral motifs appeared. Bold drawings printed on white backgrounds, embroidery, lace, and jacquard infiltrated the style. The second half of the show featured jet-black evening gowns. Velvet, satin, and lace were combined to create an asymmetrical maxi dress with large flowers blooming along the seams, creating a very elegant atmosphere.
