"Marutto, Handmade. Maruteten," a project showcasing the wonders of handmade crafts, will be held from July 27th to August 1st at the event venue on the 7th floor of the main building of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.

In what has become known as a digital society, mechanization has increasingly influenced everything, making human hands increasingly unnecessary. This exhibition focuses on the human hand, featuring workshops by special guests, a wide variety of handmade items, and products to support handmade crafts. Participants include Q-TA, coromoza, 3min., KINARI, EO, ENFANT, On-travelling Designs, Bunka-ya Zakkaten, and Bizen ware artists.

For the workshop, Q-TA will hold a collage workshop on July 30th at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, and on July 31st at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Using materials selected by Q-TA from Mitsukoshi's archives, this workshop offers a slightly different worldview than usual. Additionally, from 3pm on July 30th, a workshop will be held with freelance stylist Itsuki Aizawa and Yoshitaro Hasegawa of Bunka-ya Zakkaten as instructors. Participants will create original pouches using Bunka-ya Zakkaten's original motifs and ribbons.

From 1pm and 3pm on July 30th and 31st, workshops will be held on making aroma sachets using dried flowers, dried fruit, and EO essential oils. At the beginning, superfood concierge Takayuki Eguchi will give a talk on aromas. Applications for some of the workshops can be made on the website from July 13th to 25th, and by phone (03-3241-3311/main number) from the 26th onwards.
